Using DotLingo
There are two kinds of javascript programs I use on DotLingo. This is the first. I employ it to write bilingual paragraphs. Click any of these sentances to see a translation into English in the darkened box below.
Dotlingo Vocabulary Sheets
The second kind of javascript program I find the more useful. I use it to list words and phrases I want to memorize. By clicking the Recongnition button at the top of this section, the English translations, (and this instructional text), can be hidden. One can test their recogition of the foreign words by clicking each word to reveal its translation. Likewise clicking Recall tests the translation of English words into the foreign language. Practice mode can be turned off by clicking None. Clicking Shuffle will change the order of the words, and sometimes reveal additional examples originally hidden. | |
